"Our night at the Heritage Hotel Hallstatt was one of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon. From the moment we stepped off the ferry and saw the hotel nestled right along the lake, we knew we were in for something special. The room was absolutely stunning—modern, cozy, and spacious, with jaw-dropping views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Waking up in Hallstatt, opening the windows, and seeing that mirror-like water with alpine peaks behind it? Unreal. The hotel perfectly blends traditional Austrian charm with modern comfort, and the location is unbeatable—right in the heart of town, but peaceful and quiet. It’s also just a short walk to the ferry and everything Hallstatt has to offer. Service was warm and professional, and everything felt smooth and easy from check-in to checkout. We only stayed one night, but it was the kind of place we didn’t want to leave. If you’re going to Hallstatt, this is the place to stay. Magical, romantic, and worth every second."

"We stayed in the room called wald. Had a lovely stay from the warm welcome with chocolates and wine to the huge bathtub with plenty of amenities. The breakfasts were really beautifully put together and served in room which we liked. We were really grateful for the attentive hosts who even went out of their way to get us decaf coffee when requested. The room was very clean and was much larger than we expected. The views were spectacular from the windows."

"Nice hotel right by Grundlsee Lake, offering an amazing view. I had a room with a balcony directly facing the lake—it was stunning. The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of variety. There’s a bus stop right next to the hotel. I’ll definitely come again to enjoy a different view in the summer!"

"This resort is very peaceful in a nice beautiful place surrounded by mountains. Lake is very clean and calming. Breakfast was included and was very good. "

"We loved MONDI. Our room was first floor, lake side. We never tired of how beautiful the view was. The room was very clean. Had coffee maker, tea maker, dishes, pots and pans, a refrigerator but no microwave. Service was wonderful. Walking to the bus wasn’t a problem. However, keep in mind that you can not get a bus or taxi before 7AM. No Uber service. Train station is in Bad Aussee which is a beautiful town near by. (Bus to MONDI is only a 10 minute ride)"

"Check in was a bit complicated since no one around. I had to call the help line to activate a key card. I was receiving emails prior in German which I didn’t understand. The person on the phone spoke English so that was great. The apartment was fantastic! Very clean, new and had a full kitchen. The gym and party room was also very new. I would definitely go back there if I’m in Europe. I recommend it to my friends "
