"The area of town seemed a little sketchy. The apartment building is definitely older. Our apartment was clean but had a really strong floral scent which was horrible for someone with scent sensitivities. The bed was saggy and tge pillows were really flat. "This was by far the nicest place we stayed at in Italy. The apartment is clean, beautifully simplistic and functional, bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped and communicating with the staff was easy and enjoyable. Location is excellent: short walk to the coliseum, historic centre, Juliet's house etc. Restaurants are a short walk away, as is shopping. We had a car and were given free parking on the property. "The hotel is quite a walk from the train station. We had to drag our luggage across the street and through tunnel. But the hotel is beautiful with it's patio seats outside and bar in the lobby. The room is big and breakfast is very good. How I wish they provide slippers and toothbrush/paste, nor coffee maker in the room, or flat iron. We asked for flat iron, but 20 minutes passed and we have to leave already, still no flat iron. "
