"The house is private and clean with a heat pump/air conditioning in the main bedroom. The hammock in the backyard and the water filtration system were very appreciated. We were there in February so no issues with temperature. Our Spanish is limited so Sonia's son David picked us up at the airport, arranged tours for us and answered any questions we had. Some notes for future travellers: there is no house address, the ants will find ANY food left out, the sink backs up easily if any food gets...

"This is a fantastic property and we would definitely stay again. The photos and description are very accurate and the host is very responsive and helpful. To check in process was very easy with a local host waiting for us at the front door. Arriving from the airport is very easy. The apartment is about five blocks from the terminal. "My husband and I stayed 4 nights April 4-8. The location is right at the pier to catch boat for excursions and near all of the sea lions. There is a great little store right next door with excellent lattes/coffee and nice snacks, beer, suntan lotions etc. lots of restaurants super close. It was a great spot and very clean. Andrea and Max st the front desk were very nice and helpful. AC worked really good!!"

"This is centrally located between the Malecón and the airport and was away from the noise of the strip at night. The main lady that runs it speaks limited English but is super friendly and very charming. The shower only had one temperature and the bed was a little hard to lay in for too long but if you’re looking for a stable place to stay while you focus on being out during the day then this is an excellent option to consider. I return to San Cristobal for my flight out and would stay here...
