"Leslie’s SLO Lakeside Lodge was a big hit with my family, even better than we expected. Leslie thoughtfully provided us with some nice gifts for our arrival, and everything was clean and well laid out. The view was as lovely as it is in her pictures, the hot tub was terrific and accessible, and even the weather cooperated mostly. Location was very good, close to rock climbing, which we appreciated, and very close to restaurants and shopping. But still felt like a neighborhood. Wonderful lake...

"First off, the pix on the web don't do the site justice. It was everything we needed/wanted and to top it off the east side of the house looks over a cow pasture. Every morning the cows come over the hill and down into the pasture, some so close that you can pet them over the fence. "This is a wonderful property with great hosts. Although the listing says sleeps 6 (which it does) I with the description had said "I bedroom(sleeps to on queen size bed), One 3/4 bathroom, One double sized couch pullout, One queen mattress in loft. We thought it was a 2 bedroom place... To have fabulous views, you need to traverse a road that is narrow at spots, very twisting with lots of blind curves, and depending on direction you take out of the property, you might be driving on a dirt road...
