for the price and location this was perfect for a night in santa cruz. walkable to the boardwalk/dowbtown. the room was really just to sleep in and were in it for maybe 3 hours total so perfect for the situation. clean, chill.

The room was clean and convenient but the people staying next door were loud and standing outside of their room yelling and partying until 2:00am and the office did not say anything to them. My husband and 3 year old daughter and I got horrible sleep. Will not be staying here again.

Our room didn't have a kitchenette. Just a bathroom and bed, which is all we really needed. Bathroom was not luxurious but was clean and functional. Air-conditioning was great since road outside was loud (cars during day, beach goers at night). Parking space right outside room. Pretty close to the Boardwalk, definitely walkable distance. Fridge was nice and cool, plus its freezer actual froze things, like our ice packs! A good, clean budget room.

The hotel wasn’t bad. The parking lot is definitely same but doable However, the smaller the vehicle, the better to maneuvering. The motel is definitely dated and could use remodeling. Did find a toenail on the bed but room was still clean otherwise. Front desk gentleman was helpful and kind. Our room was on the road side, was noisy at times but not so bad. There are provided ear plugs. It would have been nice to have sheer day curtains to avoid the walk by peeping. Hotel was decent for the most part.

The place is older, but its perfect for the price and how close it is to the beach. The bathroom was huge a plus! They provided coffee and it all worked. They cleaned my room and none of my expensive things were taken. The bed was comfortable and pillows were firm. The hand soap dispenser needed to be filled though. But other than that! Great location, great service and staff, and a basketball court right across the street and we went to play since it was so convenient. Will definitely stay again.
