"Tofo was super dirty, garbage in the room, used tampons under the bed, the bathroom was terribly dirty, there was no toilet paper. Additionally, the area where the hostel is located was dirty, and looked dangerous. I do not recommend staying at this hostel. It's cheap but I wouldn't stay here again."

"I booked this hostel as I needed a place to crash for a night due to plans changing last-minute and I was pleasantly surprised the experience was even better than I imagined! A nice, quiet, clean place to stay within walking distance of a mall, lots of places to eat, and Santa Monica Beach/pier. "I booked this hostel because it was cheap and I really wasn't expecting much. However! Everything about this place was wonderful. The staff was helpful, the people staying there were mostly interesting international travelers and the place was spotlessly clean. Plus location, location, location!
