"This is a lovely old hotel and the decor reflects that - full of charm and character. However, the age of the hotel means that the ensuites are a later addition and so are very small and basic. The room was clean and comfortable but the hall could have done with some vacuuming and the sliding door to the ensuite had come off its runners."

"After a 6hr drive that day the receptionist went above and beyond to help us deal with an error I made when I booked the room. We were very happy with our stay stay here. The room was large, clean, and had everything that we needed. "

Excellent beer and steak in the bar below, and they even offer a complementary breakfast, we had the muesli which was homemade and delicious! The only room for improvement is that the water pressure in the shower is low.. But aside from that everything was just lovely! Will definitely come back again! "
