"An all around great experience. We stayed a week, enjoyed most of what Desert Island, Acadia & Bar Harbor have to offer. Office is open around the clock. Staff is friendly & helpful. Beds are comfortable. View of the Harbor is alright, not as spectacular as I’d have liked. Well worth the price given what similar accommodations are charging in the area."

"We stopped here for one night before heading to Bar Harbor. The front desk innkeeper was very kind and accomodating. Our room was clean with new flooring, new a/c heat pump, and nice new white bedding. The bed was a cooling foam mattress and very comfortable. We had a partial view of the ocean but it was an easy 2 min walk to the rocky beach. The hotel is a bit like a motor lodge but with a stunning ocean view. We didn't get breakfast there but wished we had since it was a long drive. Would stay there again."

"What a lovely place to stay! This was a peaceful and beautiful alternative to the typical Bar Harbour stay, and it is within minutes of Acadia National Park. Christine was very helpful when we checked in. The room and the inn were charming, and the people were amazing. Highly recommend!"
