Secluded Strait of Juan De Fuca Waterfront, Stunning View

This waterfront vacation rental we call Sea Shell, sits right on the edge of the bank with a stunning view and private beach access. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed, one with a twin, and a full size sleeper sofa in the living room. This very comfortable mobile home has a spectacular view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Nothing but ships, mountains and water out of the large picture window from the living room couch. Bedroom windows open to the water side, so you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves with a gentle cool breeze washing over you. Eagles fly close in and you can watch them fish and dine on the beach below from the large picture window in the living room. Sea lions, otters, whales, and innumerable birds are also common sights.

We're only a few miles from Sekiu, WA, famous for salmon fishing, and only 35 miles from Forks, home of Twilight.

We are also close to Cape Flattery, Shi Shi Beach and numerous points in the Olympic National Park. The beach below has dozens of tidepools and very interesting rock formations, plus driftwood, shells, rocks, and the occasional piece of seaglass. A wonderful place to relax your cares away.

Best tide pools!!
This property is private, located at the end of the road, very well appointed and clean. The stairway to the beach leads to some of the best tide pools ever! I am looking forward to returning.

Hidden Gem!
Home is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with outstanding beach access and tide pools. We spent hours on the beaches and never saw another soul! The home is a single-wide older trailer; it's nothing fancy, but it was spotlessly clean and very cozy. The kitchen and the home were well-stocked which was appreciated because we cooked all our meals while there. The living room window that overlooks the water was such an outstanding view!

Everything exceeded our expectations from the comfortable kitchen that was fully equipped to the stunning views of the water framed by gorgeous trees. A peaceful, private haven.

Great place by the Strait
This was a wonderful location. The trailer is just that, a trailer. It is dated but clean. The queen bed and twin bed are comfortable. My daughter did not complain about the sleeper sofa but she is about 110 lbs. The view out the front window is amazing and the deck is wonderful. Great semi-private beach and not far from Olympic attractions. Saw seals and starfish while here. Great sunsets if you walk west at low/semi-low tide.

It was amazing.
First the owners were super fast to respond to all of my questions. Which was amazing. Second, the place is super clean. Yes there are some issues, like a slight lean in the bathroom, but it didn't matter. The beds are super comfortable. The house was well stocked. The view is breathtaking and the beach is so quiet and peaceful. We saw seals and whales from the beach. It is one of my favorite places and I can't wait to go back.

Never Disappoints
This was our fifth stay at this wonderful property. We just love the private beach, the seclusion and the beauty. We were very pleasantly surprised to see the addition of a fabulous covered deck off the kitchen/living area. Enjoyed coffee in the mornings and wine in the afternoons while watching the water. Lots of eagles, and sea stars this trip. We’ll be back.

Perfect location
This property was spot on as advertised. The mobile home is clean, everything worked and we were comfortable. It is not fancy and you should bring everything you need. I would encourage everyone to bring binoculars.. we wished we had brought ours. The internet had been acting up, and we were left a hotspot which worked great. (Thank you) The view is incredible. We enjoyed the tide pools every morning, we saw eagles, seals and even whale spouts in the distance. It is a beautiful place to be. I would highly recommend. We all agreed that we would love to go back..

Fantastic Place on the Peninsula
The first thing you notice when checking in is the incredible views. You can see forever, it seems, with a massive view of the ocean. Then you notice how great the accommodations are - terrific deck, a couple of gas grills, plenty of clean space in the trailer, lots of cooking utensils. Our only complaint is that many of the games were missing pieces or instructions. So a refresh might be necessary. We had a fantastic time, will come back!

The house was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The location and access to the beach is fantastic! Our kids and dogs loved exploring around the tide pools. We had the beach all to ourselves during our stay. It was an experience we won't soon forget.

Love this place
This was our third visit to this property and we just love it. The cabin is always very clean and there are views of the Strait from every room. We absolutely love the beach, and the best part is that there is rarely anyone else on it! Pack in all your food because there isn’t much around. If you like seclusion, this place is for you.

Beautiful spot!
As others have mentioned it's an older mobile home with a few quirks, but it's clean, warm, and everything works! The location can't be beat if you're looking for that edge-of-the-Earth feeling. Very secluded and the beach is spectacular. If/when the Makah Indian Reservation ever reopens to the public, we'll be back for a visit to Neah Bay and Cape Flattery.

Seashell Fun
We loved our getaway with our grandson at the Seashell. The place was perfectly perched above the beach with incredible back views of the Strait. The beach felt like our private beach, seeing 2 other people in 4 days. There were great tide pools, rock formations, bluffs with alcoves and waterfalls plus lots of birds and even seals. The house was quiet and comfortable, not fancy, but just right for us. We'd stay here again and gladly recommend to others!

Amazing
This was a dream trip for me, that I have been planning for 25 years. So having the perfect place to stay was important. The Seashell exceeded expectations. It was warm and cozy, you practically had the beach to yourself. I got up every morning to watch the sunrise and every evening I got watch the moon rise. I was lucky enough to have beautiful weather every day, but the last one and that was ok, because I had a fire in the wood stove and just watched the waves. They have updated since the pics were taken. I was sort of disappointed the green shag carpeting was gone. Lol! But I'm sure it was a hassle to keep clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and I have bad hips and knees, so most mattresses kill me. The kitchen had everything I needed. They had wifi so I could play music, but no TV. Not that I missed it at all, I could have watched Netflix on my tablet, but why, when you can watch the ocean. This was truly a wonderful trip. I very much want to go back.

Excellent attention to all amenities. Beach stairs were a little difficult for my 91 year old body to accomplish but my 15 year old doggie and I made it... she much better than I. Very comfortable accommodations in all ways. Check with your cell phone company. Canadian cells want to gobble up all your money.

Quiet Getaway on Magical Beach
This is an ideal location if you're looking to spend hours looking in tide pools or just watching waves and wildlife. We saw a total of 5 people on the beach during a sunny, warm weekend. We didn't miss the TV with the view of the water from the window and plenty of games. These are not luxury accommodations by any means, just everything you need for a peaceful getaway.

Sekiu Natural Beauty
The trailer was warm and well equipped. We were there to enjoy the natural beauty of this coast and NO electronics. We had absolutely no disappointments with the beautiful nights and days on the beach. Although the furniture is in line with the kitchy theme of the trailer; it was worn out, very uncomfortable to sit or sleep in, and likely original! I would not stay inside this trailer again unless the furnature and matress is replaced.
