"Excellent place Friendly Clean"

"I would highly recommend Platzl Hotel if you plan on visiting Munich. I extensively researched Munich hotels and was so happy I chose Platzl. We arrived early, unannounced, just hoping the desk would be able to store our luggage. Peter and Adrian, at reception, were so friendly and accommodating. They performed a quick search and were able to check us into our room early. This set the tone for the way our stay evolved. We booked one of the smaller suites and it was a perfect for a 5 night stay. The room was immaculately clean, contemporary design and luxurious bathroom. We purchased the breakfast in advance and highly recommend that you do. It is worth the cost. Endless healthy choices, German specialties, freshly baked breads, mimosas, fresh fruit, yogurt, freshly prepared omelettes, breakfast smoothies, etc. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to most attractions and shopping in Munich, but yet nestled in a spot that felt quiet and safe. There is an underground parking garage for an additional fee that was very convenient. We utilized the sauna and gym, both perfectly sized and equipped for a hotel. The mini bar was complementary and stocked with waters and other beverages during our stay. Also, Nespresso coffee machine is always a plus! I can go on and on about the hotel amenities and the professionalism and kindness of the staff. But, I will end it here by saying we will return to Platzl Hotel and recommend it to everyone visiting Munich. "

"The hotel was very convenient walking to the Christmas markets, to the train stations and also places eat around the city. Great breakfasts to fuel us in the morning. The beds were comfortable and our bathroom was huge. "

"Great Location for a Family Holiday. Very clean room. Breakfast is expensive at the Hotel but their is a little Kiosk just two Houses up towards Theresienwiese which does great Coffee and has a choice of Pastries and Semmeln."

"We really enjoyed this hotel! The price was reasonable, the room was clean and comfortable, and amenities were great. We were given the choice to forego daily room cleaning and were given a free drink in the bar for every night we decided not to have the room cleaned. We often forego room cleaning (to save water and resources) and the drink was a great reward for doing so. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and even included prosseco! A special thanks and recognition to Ibrahim Iman in the bar and Bahre at breakfast. Both went above and beyond and made our stay even more special."
