They have a suitcase scale which can help you when packing back up to go home so that’s nice. The mattresses are hard with springs stabbing up, possibly just box springs not mattresses? The pillows are hard! They give you bath mats for towels. Sometimes they give a bigger one, you have to ask to have that changed so I just bought my own from Daiso. There is a lot of mold in the bathroom because it’s meant to be Korean style where the whole room is a shower room but it hasn’t been waterproofed so black mold grows everywhere. The walls and floor are damaged and dirty. The sink in the first room just drained onto the floor so don’t wear socks while using, the sink in the second room clogged and would be almost over flowing before I could wash my face. The room smells musty, probably because of the mold so you wanna keep the window open but staff and guests smoke and talk down there so pick your thing you can be patient with. Although it says they clean the room you actually have to ask them to do that if you “need” it. If you need a hotel for a quick trip, like one night, it is in a very good area that’s easy to get to anywhere. They are nice but I just think it needs a renovation so it could match up a bit more with photos. I would call it more of a business hotel than anything else. Good for short not long stays.
Good location. Cheap.
Terrible room, subpar cleanliness. Bed is spring mattress that is hard as F.
Air conditioner does not appear to have been cleaned for many years.
Bookers beware. Photos on site appear to be from when the hotel initially opened as in reality, it kinda looks like that but with a dirty tinge.
Mould and dirt in bathroom. Bathroom is tiny (shower and toilet are the same thing).
It is a bit hidden down an alley. By current landmarks, look at the 7/11 and go left until you see and opening and walk down. On discount, it is a great place given location to Insadong, embassies, museums, and palace. The information here says 24 hour front desk, but it's my understanding that there is no one there between 1-8 AM. I've stayed in better places, but I've also stayed in far worse.
Hotel was decent. More a guesthouse than hotel. Double room is tight for 2 people. Hot water is good. Needed a room which had 24-hour check-in as we would only arrive in the city around 2am. Taxi drivers can’t read English - so he could call the hotel to ask for directions. It is a bright yellow hotel in an alley, refer to another review’s direction.
The main problem was with the temperature, it was already freezing but the room floor was heated but there was no circulation. Woke up 2-3 times as I couldn’t breathe! They should have turned down the heater...
This was an incredibly affordable stay just outside one of Seoul's most charming districts. Clean, efficient, and no-fuss.

Well the only good thing about this hotel is it's location. It's super close to insadong and tapgol park which is about a minute or 2 of walking. It's also close to 2 train stations name jonggak and jongno-3-ga stations. It's also close to the airport bus stop and local city bus stop so getting around seoul is easy and there's also the nami island tour bus beside tapgol park. There are many shops around the hotel. 7-11 is just around the corner, cat cafe, the 24 hour noodle shop, kfc, starbucks just to name a few. It's also close to the youth avenue which is a street lined with bars, restos, and shops which closes relatively late. The room was ok since it's still relatively newly renovated but it's not that clean. There were hairs on the bed and i think they threw hairs on the toilet bowl which they forgot to flush when they cleaned the room before we arrived. The room was small but manageable. The bed has spring mattress so it's hard to sleep coz the spring will poke your back and the mattress was hard.
Our room wasn't cleaned the entire time we stayed (5days) eventhough i asked for room cleaning. Having big suitcases and going up 4 flights of stairs was also a hassle since they will not help you carry your baggage to your room. The staff speak little english so another problem. Walls were thin so you can hear people from outside or from the other room. But overall you get what you pay for.

Great location, not too expensive
Great Location, many sightseeing or shopping area in walking distance. Many food stalls and restaurant are near by. The room is small, warm interior design. Spring bed is old and uncomfortable. It was hard to goto sleep for me. Generally it was quite quiet during the stats, just one night there are few crazy drunk Korean screamed and talk loudly around 2am at night.

It is okay for 1 or 2 day stay. The room and the bathroom are not big, but if you are going to just sleep and be out all day it is okay
