"Just had a wonderful stay at Xianal Vacation Chateau (夏內爾渡假民宿). It was just a piece of paradise among the strawberry fields. It's just off the busy Taiwan Route No 3, but the noise level was not a concern due to good sound insulations. It's also a short drive to the town of Dahu for a nice meal. "I took a taxi from Tonglou Station to the resort, as there’s no public transportation available. I loved the setting—the surroundings were beautiful, and the atmosphere was relaxing. The room was spacious, and the massage pool was incredible, especially after a day of hiking. The spring water left my skin feeling silky smooth. The food was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. "

"Tried to cancel thru the Expedia virtual service, several times, to no avail. Never stayed, rebooked to another location. When I booked, the location given in Maioli was behind a gas station in centre of town. 24 hours prior to arrival, I verified the address on Google map and it was outside the city, in the hills. Since I am cycling, I wasn't going to launch myself into the Taiwanese hills, after a day of cycling."

"I seriously think that this villa is overrated. - Not worth the price. Can get a better quality hotel with this price or cheaper. - Felt that pictures shown are rather deceitful. It's not as nice as you see in in the pictures. - No one swims in the small but colorfully lighted swimming pool. - The private 'spa'is not really a spa. It is just a bath tank. No medicinal spa water etc. - Wifi is really bad. Disconnects often. - Stayed two nights and served the same breakfast - ie. hotdogs, chicken...
