"The stay at the oceanfront home in Shelter Cove exceeded all expectations. The house is perfect in its location next to the sea and in its window-filled layout. I was fortunate enough to get some delightfully pleasant spring weather mixed in with a powerful spring storm. It was two very different worlds, but the house excelled in both.Renting the house for a week was a splurge for my solo Spring Break excursion, but I feel it was worth every penny. Just wonderful all around. Thanks!"

"We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!"

"This house has a great view of the ocean and is walking distance from the lighthouse and other Shelter Cove highlights. Comfortable beds and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, etc to cook for the family during our stay. We loved our stay here!"

We were able to cook, grill, relax, walk, golf, and frequent both the brewery and pizza place nearby (both fantastic). This was our first time in Shelter Cove and it is both remote and beautiful. "We have stayed at this rental a few times and will likely come again. The deck is deck is amazing! We could spend the whole trip out there watching the ocean and the planes flying in and out. Sofa is a little small and very low to the ground. Maybe not idea for more than 2 people or travelers with weak knees.Coffee shops, brewery, golf course and airstrip 'in town' are easily walkable, but the return trip is uphill."

Could use a few additional items like a cheese grater. Besides the winding road to the house our overall experience and visit was great. "My group of 5 only stayed one night as we were in the middle of a motorcycle tour of Northern California. We were so happy when we arrived to a have such a nice spot to hang out. Plenty of space and everything was really clean. We were able to walk to the brewery as well as the Surf point coffee house. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay."

"We didn’t realize that we had to drive so far off 101 to get to the hotel but it was well worth it. Despite the gloomy weather, the location was wonderful. "We didn’t realize that we had to drive so far off 101 to get to the hotel but it was well worth it. Despite the gloomy weather, the location was wonderful. There is no lobby or anyone to greet you but the check-in instructions were clear and concise. We had no problem entering our room so we did not miss the “lobby”! The room was clean and cute with very firm beds! I love a firm bed. We appreciated the coffee and the tea in the room as it was cold while we were there. Thank you for the hospitality!"
