"This was THE best place I have ever stayed. I was traveling with my four kiddos and husband and there was plenty of space for us. The free snacks and ice cream made the stay for them memorable. The building itself had been beautifully restored and the space is huge. There is a great quiet and picturesque place to read and a beautiful old library with a gorgeous pool table for some fun. "Had a girls weekend & stayed in the top floor 2 bedroom suite. It was a perfect getaway, with ample room. The kitchen was great for a quick breakfast before heading out and the living room was great for watching a movie at night. Parking was provided behind the house, but we didn’t need to move the car after parking originally because everything was very walkable. "This is a very nice apartment close to downtown Lexington. I have friends in Charlottesville and Lexington has been a good place to meet since my family lives in Blacksburg. I will gladly stay again for 1-2 nights. I have a dog and the road was nice to walk on (not very busy). All of the following things were clear in the description and photos but I missed a low comfortable table to eat at or sit at to work on the computer and I missed a TV - I know that makes me old :) The walls are slanted. "This is an exceptional property! My wife and I spent a night here and had access to the living room where we hing out and played games and our cash and carter room was super comfortable, clean and we will be back! We took advantage of the i e maker AND restaurants/ Main Street was a very short walk away on Lurays river walk. We did the entire walk with our dog and visited a few bakeries who were true artisans! LOVED OUR VISIT!!!"

It is a quaint 1920’s carriage house with beautiful hardwood floors, a pedestal tub, fully stocked kitchen & large screened in porch for relaxing on those gorgeous evenings!
