"This is a small house, well-suited for a couple or two, or for a family where sharing double beds is acceptable. The house is comfortable, but not at all luxurious. The décor is a hodge-podge and there is some unfinished wood trim in the bathroom. The beds are exceptionally comfortable-- slept very well. "The house was fantastic. Close to Hunter Mountain Ski Resort and a cute one street town. Peter and Lara had both wood burning stoves going for us when we arrived. The house is wonderful with a fun separate hang out place for the kids. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Hot tub with wonderful views. All the firewood you could ever need. We will be back for sure!"

"Wonderful property that allowed me to disconnect and relax. The home was comfortable and clean. Although this may seem weird, the towels were hotel quality and the sheets were clean and fresh. I appreciate this because I’ve stayed at some rentals that the sheets and towels were very questionable. I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay here again. Great communication by the property manager. They were awesome!"

"This was our second family weekend at Jewel House and it did not disappoint! The big well stocked kitchen makes meal time prep and clean up easy and it has plenty of beds & baths for our group of 17. The front porch is a great place to relax and enjoy time catching up and we especially enjoyed our evening spent around the backyard fire pit. It's private and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The host was quick to respond to text messages when we found a small issue at check in that was...

"Overall the stay was nice. The inside of the home was very neat and tidy. My complaints would be that the outdoor BBQ hut grill was not clean. Also, we were unable to use the hot tub because the chemicals were very overpowering. It was kind of a bummer not being able to use those amenities but otherwise we had a very nice stay."

"If we could give more stars we would. We all enjoyed our stay so much we decided we need to come back. The house is so charming and decorated so beautifully. All the fresh flowers around the house made you feel like you were home. The host left amazing gifts for us when we checked in and kept in contact to make sure everything was ok."
