"It is quiet but offer easy access to other areas by train. The beach is right across the street. I enjoy walking to Enoshima island and watch sunrise and sunset. The hotel provides shuttle service on demand. The spa is great relaxation after all the walking. "

"I didn't realize this was a hostel. Pretty bummed when I showed up at the property and realized that. Not a fan of the checkin process- very cold, impersonal, and time consuming. Though a girl finally did show up to help a bit at the end. It was close to the train station, beach, and Enoshima Island which was nice. "

Makoto, Ana, and Karen are the nicest staff ever, we extended out stay multiple days because we met other amazing people staying at this hostel and became very familiar with Kamakura. Kamakura should be a multi-day trip and you should definitely stay at Iza Kamakura House if you want a really comfortable and laid back place to stay. "
