"We spent almost a fortnight in this beautifully restored house right on the square in Castelsagrat. We had a wonderful time. It is very large house and very comfortable for 5 persons as it has 2 great bathrooms with very nice showers. There are 2 big bedrooms and there is really a 3rd ante-bedroom which is adjacent to one of 2 bathrooms. The house is really nicely set up to allow for entertaining and relaxing; the pool is the perfect temp, the house is cool during hot days and the living room and kitchen are spacious and well laid out. "The area was a little remote, but the house was exactly as described and plenty big enough for 3 family groups with a wide range in children’s ages. The outside areas worked brilliantly well, plenty of shade or sun as required. The area was really peaceful and we had deer wandering around the area. The property owner was really helpful with all our questions and responded really quickly. If I’m being picky due to the heatwave we would have appreciated. Air con in the downstairs bedrooms....

"I was extremely pleased with hotel de college! Beautiful hotel, well appointed room, very happy with the thermal baths right next door. My room also had a mini kitchen which was fantastic as a great to go kitchen basically across the street(and I was by myself doing the gr 65). I hate hotels who don't let you open the windows so this was also a plus. Best night of my trip so far!"

Self-check in, no humans

"I stayed here because there was a pool. When I arrived about 8 or 9pm there was a self-check-in at the gate. I was not sent a code, but a friend who spoke French called and got it for me. It was not sent through Hotels.com or by email. Without calling I would have not been able to stay here at all and would have been far from Agen with no room. It is VERY FAR from Agen, not in Agen as listed on the hotels.com site. The pool was covered for the night and opened at 8am the next morning. Check-out was at 10. There is no ice machine, no refrigerator, no hotel staff. I got up at 8 to use the pool for an hour. When I checked out the hotel front desk person called a cab for me. It was about 30 euro to get back to Agen. This is the only person I spoke to during my entire stay and she was lovely and helpful and understanding of my baby French as I counted on my fingers to tell her my room number. If you aren't prepared for this odd system, you will not be able to check-in if you arrive late. There is an elevator. There is no communication with guests. Pool is very small and was being cleaned during the one hour I was able to use it during my stay. I swam anyway, but the vacuum was underfoot and would not have been safe for children to swim."

"Wonderful location with splendid views over river from large room. We extended to 8 nights so obviously good but tiny tiny wardrobe so clothes around room. However , we saw other rooms had much larger later so should have asked to change. Excellent overall"
