"Wonderful beach house with outstanding views and a casual warm atmosphere, plus was well-appointed and comfortable even for the winter season. With easy access to beach walks and local hiking areas,yet close to town, it has it all. A snow storm was handled by a great plow driver, and there was a shovel and ice melt provided for the edges. This home’s 2 story layout works well for both solo travelers and groups."

"The Globe House was a wonderful Plato spend a couple of days while exploring Portland. The house itself was immaculate and well appointed, with extra touches that put it a step above: the fresh scent from a diffuser welcomed us, a complimentary bottle of wine awaited us in the refrigerator, and luxe amenities like L’Occitane moisturizer were provided. "The picture on VRBO leads you to believe you just go down the pathway shown to get to the beach when you are actually in a neighborhood and have to walk down the street to get to the beach. The house was very clean and both beds were very comfortable. The host was very fast to respond to my messages. Needs clean shower liner. We enjoyed our stay. "

"We enjoyed stay but wished we could of stayed longer. The views, from the home, are so beautiful. Spacious Master bedrooms on both 2nd & 3rd floor with private bathrooms & breath-taking views of ocean/Long Sands Beach. Other bedrooms are great as well. Sunrise view is incredible. Owners are extremely responsive and are so easy to work with. Highly recommend this rental. Home is clean-clean (as others have noted) and well stocked. You will not be disappointed. "
