"A faded beauty that offers good value and a great location. The staff were very helpful in accommodating my requests. My room overlooked busy Queen St and was noisy but I was warned of this and was given the option to switch but I did have a strained view of the castle which was a trade off. The traffic noise died down after 11 pm anyway. Loved the soaker tub! TV had wonky reception and there were no electrical outlets beside the bed. An extension cord was provided and sufficed. "Good for what we needed. Tea and coffee facilities were great. Iron and Hairdryer included in the room was a good touch, first time I've ever needed to use them and they worked. The pool was ok, slightly too busy, but we did use it at peak time (evening). Great stay."

"This was a great place to stay for two nights when visiting Cardiff to watch the rugby with family. We had two apartments; they were brilliantly located, extremely functional and clean - which is exactly what we needed them to be. Luxury apartments they are not - and the price was very high because it was an international match weekend. But I’d definitely recommend as a base to stay and hang out. "

The room service was aldo great and nothing was too much trouble. We had stayed in the Tower Suite and as always it was stunning, quiet and the perfect place to just quiet the mind.
