"From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped. We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included. We had two evening dinners at the pub and both were excellent from the very varied menu on offer. "

"Unfortunately my bedroom windows weren't double glazed (or if they were it was very poor) so there was a lot of traffic noise meaning not a good sleep. Also other visitors weren't very considerate when arriving back at night so again rather noisy. On the plus side the table service at breakfast was very good instead of having to get food from a buffet."
