"My wife and I stayed at the Rambler for a long weekend away. We went to SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo and the Old Town Trolley Tour. The Rambler’s location was perfect! About 15 minutes from downtown San Diego meant we were not going to be disrupted by a lot of noise (like planes landing and taking off) but still close enough that a quick drive got us to everything. Our room was great! Very clean and it seemed like it was newly renovated. The bed was VERY comfortable and the shower had better water...

"We had a wonderful stay. Property is quiet but well lit. Clean and the staff were very helpful. Everyone greets you, says good morning etc. Breakfast was nice. Close to gas, food, shopping and the border. Great place to stay. We will definitely be back. "

"Not your traditional hotel, no full time person at desk, no breakfast or anything such as that. Did see some coffee and hot chocolate packs, but that was all, but plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Hotel was clean, rooms on the small size. We got a King size room and was not a traditional size room. Overall it was great for us as we had an event nearby. 7-11 Across the street if you need to buy snack or drinks. "
