"A mother and daughter walk by while I was eating at the restaurant bar.. they walk by a few times and they stopped in! There's something so pure about that it brought emotions rushing to me in a moment! I knew that they were supposed to stop there! My state was cut short but a very nice staff. The two restaurant workers at the restaurant bar could have used three more helpers! But no complaints from I! "

"First time, not a fan of the limited choices in the restaurant but the overall hotel was great. The front desk staff have limited knowledge of how late the restaurant stayed open and how late they served food, which made us have to walk to Irish pub across the street. But other than that, it was for my husbands Birthday and we will stay again. "

"We had a wonderful stay here. Eugene, our valet, was very friendly and helpful. Yesterday (3/30/2025) my wife had a very pleasant experience checking in; the manager and her trainee both did an excellent job. Elliot and Lena took care of our made-to-order breakfast, which was delicious, and they made us feel right at home. And of course the location is perfect. We loved it! Thank you, Fort Pontchartrain staff!"

It was a short drive to the university hospital; that there was coffee 24/7; that the front desk people were warm, welcoming and helpful; that our room and the whole facility was very clean, our room was quiet and easibly accessible. we will go there again! "I’m in the hospitality industry and I experienced great staff interaction with great training on interacting with the guests. Your employee training is top notch! Well Done! One quick note - I was given two cookies at check-in and noticed during my 5 day stay a basket full of cookies throughout the day. I would help myself when I entered the hotel and saw the cookies in the basket. On day 4 of my stay a staff member asked me if I would like to put the cookie on my room. I was shocked & embarrassed! I truly did not realize they were for retail. Maybe just a card next to the basket or mentioned when giving the first cookie on check-in that they can be purchased for $3.00 a package? A very slight blemish on an incredible time at your hotel."
