Both downtown Queenstown and the Coronet Peak base building are a short 15km drive away. In winter, you can be on mountain making first tracks in just 18-minutes. The open plan living area is perfect for entertaining and large sliding doors connecting the home to its secluded natural surroundings create a sense of calm; with a light and airy feel and an abundance of natural light. The home is thoughtfully furnished with a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for relaxing after a long day of holiday exploring. Arrow Wood’s layout has been pleasantly designed for easy living with a modern rural charm and an elegant country feel.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS:
This home features four stylish bedrooms with plush carpets and ducted heating/cooling. The spacious master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom including a luxurious standalone bath and separate shower. This room also boasts a private courtyard; simply perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a glass of wine in amongst the stunning trees and mountain views. Enjoy easy access to the garden and spa pool from any of the three guest bedrooms, one with ensuite, and all with large sliding doors. There is the option for Bedroom 4 to be setup as a family room with 1-2 single beds on request. (Please note that this is suitable for Bedroom 4 only). There is also a stylish shared family bathroom, and an additional guest toilet.

LIVING AREA:
An entertainer’s delight, the spacious, bright area is filled with natural light and features stunning exposed beams and a pitched ceiling, adding to the luxurious mountain vibe. Underfloor heating throughout as well as a log fireplace will keep you warm and toasty even in the depths of winter as you enjoy the stunning alpine landscapes with a glass of local Pinot Noir. Equally, in the warmer months, the large full height sliding doors open this home to the surrounding trees, fabulous outdoor courtyard, garden and spa area – well suited for hosting guests and offering a seamless living and entertaining space. There is also a separate media room, a perfect getaway for the little ones and a movie which includes a Smart TV & Sky TV.
KITCHEN AND DINING:
The kitchen and dining area are both elegant and simple. The large Carrara marble benchtop includes bar stool seating, and sits centre stage seconded only by the majestic views outside. There is a gas hob, double oven, Nespresso coffee machine and a plethora of kitchen appliances, along with a more formal 8-seater dining table. This space is well set up for at home dining.
If al fresco is more your style; open the doors and step out into the adjacent outdoor entertaining space, with cosy fireside lounge seating, along with all the ambience of the peaceful surrounds has never looked so good. Imagine yourself here, glass of Central Otago Rose in hand! This area features a large schist fireplace, covered louvre system and Weber BBQ.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS:
Arrow Wood’s expansive and well-established grounds truly have it all! A peaceful retreat for the nature lover, relax under the trees with a good book, or enjoy a picnic in the garden. Soak up the warmth of the roaring log fire on the outdoor patio; covered for use in all seasons or enjoy a long soak in the luxurious, oversized Hot Spring spa pool after a day on the slopes. A nearby small orchard includes apple, plum, pear and quince trees. There’s also a Pétanque Court, croquet and basketball hoop. This beautiful rural sanctuary truly is your home away from home.
RATE INCLUSIONS & FEES:
Rates are inclusive of 15% GST, spa pool valet, premium linen and for a maximum of eight guests. A departure clean fee of NZ$495 applies. Minimum 3-night stay year-round, and 4-7 nights during peak periods. Bookings of 8 nights or more receive a service clean.
- Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.
- A standard exit clean is included in your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state. Excessively littered and/or dirty conditions at departure will result in extended housekeeping hours being charged. This may include carpet cleaning or excessive rubbish removal for example.
- Arrow Wood is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held.
- Please be mindful that the property is located in a peaceful residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. Quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am.
- We are required to take a security bond pre-authorisation in the event of any damage to the property. The guest will be notified immediately should a charge need to be taken.
