"A perfect spot for a base to explore Denman, put your kayaks in the water and visit friends in Courtenay, all of which we did. This quirky cottage has a gorgeous view, with great spots for morning coffee and walks on the beach. Inside you have all the amenities you need, from blankets to games to a decent kitchen - only caution is that if you're a cook, best not to plan for an elaborate meal as counter space is minimal. This spot gave us just the weekend we were looking for!"

"Thank you Bree for letting us stay on the cozy log cabin. We travelled there during spring break (2 adults, 3 kids ages 10-5) for 5 days and 4 nights and during the stay the whole family enjoyed the stay.The place was cleaned and we had all the supplies needed there, we did not have to get any other supplies but food. The beds upstairs were good enough for us as we still had smaller kids that just sleep together. It got hot upstairs on the loft during the nights due to the nice wooded stove that we used all the time during our stay, still need to figure out how to get it not so hot upstairs at night haha. But that made it fun for us to experiment on how much wood to put and etc. Plenty of wood to use as the shed is just outside the cabin if you need more. Location is great, and it was easy to find during the day. It was good location because it was centralised enough that it didn't feel far away which was good. Parking was in front of the cabin so that was good too. Overall we would definitely visit there again maybe in the winter time and play with the wooden stove again when its colder haha. Communication with Bree was easy and quick to respond. Thank you again for the lovely experience that we got. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful little cabin tucked away in a serene cedar forest in the Qualicum Beach area. It’s the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cosy wood stove made the cabin feel extra warm and inviting, and it was the ideal spot to relax after a day of exploring. Although we never met our host in person, we knew they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel well taken care of. The cabin is also a fantastic place to bring your dog — our furry friend loved it! There is a cabin next door, but the way the cabins and firepits are thoughtfully arranged gave us plenty of privacy. We really appreciated that! The cabin is well-equipped with everything you need to cook meals, and they even provided coffee and tea, which was a lovely touch. You will need a car to stay here, but there are plenty of great adventures nearby, so you don’t have to do much driving to enjoy the area. Highly recommend this peaceful retreat for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled getaway! "
