"Beautiful location with horse and goats in the garden, balcony was amazing we could have just stayed there all day. However we chose this location to view the war graves and the lost post bridge and it was a perfect location. Breakfast was amazing, fridge well stocked with wine and beer. The just was friendly and helpful. This was our last stop on our two week trip around Northern Europe and we definitely saved the best til last. We hope to be back as there was so much to see we didn’t get it...

"As a business traveller, this was a great find. On entry, the place has an amazing and welcoming patio garden which leads to the reception / bar. "This was our first visit to this hotel which is on the outskirts of Veurne near the park. There is parking in the grounds and the gates are locked at night. It's an attractive old building with high ceilings and our room was large with bedding for three if needed. Breakfast was very good with an excellent selection of fruit, ham and cheese with copious buns. It is family run and they are very friendly. We will return in the near future."

"I wanted a hotel with free parking on the way to Calais after touring Flanders. The room was a little tired and the bathroom had seen better days. Beer on the terrace was good and breakfast the next morning was excellent. I forgot to phone ahead at I was arriving after 7pm, but the owner phoned to check that we were on our way. Good choice of TV channels including BBC!"
