"What a lovely place. Built in 1877 it has a lot of character. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Great location, just a 10 min or less walk to downtown Bath. Only negative thing was being an old building the heat is not able to be adjusted and it was very hot in our room. Overall it was a great stay."

"This is the second time I’ve stayed at Lorne House but my first time since I was a teenager. Bob was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. I’d go as far as to say this is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in with a lovely old feel and enormous comfy bed. My partner and I were pleased to come back after a long day in Bath to a luxurious bathroom which was the most well equipped I’ve seen from a B&B. "This B & B was very nice. We only needed to stay for 1 night. The host was very welcoming, friendly & helpful. The cat (Finnegan) was very affectionate, too, bless him! We had our own bathroom, as advertised, & this is on the landing, not in the room itself. Just for info, really. Bed comfy. Nice sized wardrobe, a safe, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, hair dryer etc. The shower was lovely. Personally, I would prefer a bigger towel to dry my hair, rather than a guest towel & a larger bath one....
