DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke on Trent

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1001)
"Clean and comfortable rooms which was what we wanted for a break during the travel. Room was excessively warm for most portion of our stay due to an ever running heating system which nullifies the air conditioner. There were dinner options and complementary breakfast along with Pool facility which we made use of. Staff were really good and welcoming. Highly recommended."

Manor House Hotel & Spa

4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (670)
"Second visit to the Manor House Spa. This was my first visit since they open the Spa. Its was lovely. Not to packed and lots of areas for you to choose. We didn’t book a treatment but maybe when we revisit when the second pool opens. I wouldn’t book through hotels as their packages don’t include access to the Spa Garden and that’s the best bit. I would recommend that the indoor spa should get a jacuzzi and a kettle with a longer lead to read the plug! "

The Upper House

4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (240)
"We’ve stayed here several times as a stop off on our way north using the M6. It’s always welcoming, comfortable and usually quiet (just once there was a wedding there but it didn’t interfere with our stay). The individually ordered breakfast is the best we’ve come across. The evening meal offers variety and nothing is too much trouble. The gardens provide a lovely walk and photo opportunities. "

George Hotel, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent

3.0 star property
5.4 out of 10, (282)
"If you can look past the area that the 'George Hotel' is in then you have a beautiful old building with a very interesting history behind it. Yes the property could do with some investment and renovation, but the building inside was clean and the rooms were clean. The staff were all very friendly. In its hayday this would have been a wonderful building"
