"Positives: Has great views over the Irish sea. Nice quiet street with own parking spot. Beach direct in front of door for kids to play. Good WiFi Negatives: It's very small, be prepared for that if your staying for more than a few days Full with damp unfortunately, so the 2 sofas plus Bed and bed sheets always feel 'wet', and a bit of odor with that too Main areas and everything you need are clean, however I would not say the property is given a full deep clean if you look around all...

"Stayed one night on road trip around Dumfries and Galloway. Was allocated top floor triple room with fantastic view over the harbour. Room itself was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Only negative was the small en-suite with an incredibly tiny wash hand basin and no rasonable opportunity to hang up towels. Great, plentiful breakfast and friendly and helpful staff."

"When we arrived the staff were very helpful, and although we had arrived a couple of hours before check in, they advised us that the room was ready and we could drop our luggage off. They informed us that the car parking is anywhere in the public parking area, and there were plenty of spaces directly across the road from the Hotel. The Hotel itself is right on the Waterfront, although the name may give that away, and there is an outside seating area, to enjoy the sunshine with a few drinks from the bar. Some renovation work was ongoing in the hotel, but this did not affect our stay. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom whilst very small was well thought out in the space allocated. The bed was comfortable, allowing for a good nights sleep and the shower was powerful. Breakfast was the usual mix of a cooked breakfast, along with a selection of cereals, yoghurt, bread and pastries, the cooked breakfast was very enjoyable and filling. We also had a meal in the restaurant one evening, the menu was extensive, and the quality of the food was very good. All in all a very nice stay, with friendly staff and we would definitely return in the future. . "
