"This is a beautiful unit in a neighborhood where white people cannot safely walk. That is not my opinion-the desk clerk escorted us to the grocery and back, made sure our Uber was in front before we left the lobby, etc. The area is not rundown. I was sad that our visit was altered by this circumstance. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. We had Great service and enjoyed staying inside a theme park. The included breakfast was delicious. We paid extra for the Jozi historical gold mine tour and were glad we did. Going down in the gold mine and later up on the large Ferris wheel were both highlights for us."

"This place is nothing as advertised and just a disappointment all around. If you are simply looking for a bed to sleep in and nothing more then it is fine. But the rooms are old and look as though they are hardly taken care of. It felt as though I was at a distant family member's house who wasn't prepared for me to stay the night."

"BEEARE! This property is not what is advertised! The photos are fake, it is a 1 bedroom apartment, & it is located in a dangerous trash-strewn downtown area of Johannesburg. The owner gave us entry info at the very last minute & only after I contacted them, the directions were very confusing, & it became apparent the whole booking was a scam. I had to find other accommodations upon arrival. I reported this to Expedia & requested a full refund & told them they should remove this listing. The...
