"Lane Alley is lovely, it’s in a good location near Hayashi Department Store and the Confucius Temple and is a great example of a restored mid-century Tainan house. The original ‘star glass’ windows are beautiful and the coffee every morning is much appreciated. The service is also very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "期待した通りのかわいい民宿でした。 チェックインのスタッフはとても親切で、日本語のガイドブックも貸してくれました。 お部屋のベッドのマットレスはちょうどいい柔らかさで、とても寝やすくゆっくり休めます。 周辺には有名な飲食店も多く、テイクアウトしてゆっくりお部屋で食べました。 バスルームは、シャワーカーテンがないのですが、床はよく乾き、問題なかったです。 チェックアウト後に、充電器を忘れたのですがスタッフの方がすぐに連絡をくれました。あいにく既に台南を離れていたので、2ヶ月後にまた台南に行く際まで預かってくれることになり、その親切さに感動しました。 広いお部屋だったので、一人だと少し値段は高いですが、とても充実して過ごすことができました。"

"I was glad we had a mandarin speaker with us to call the proprietor when we arrived as we didnt know what to do when everything was locked up. But once we called and he arrived, it was an awesome place to stay. Loved the location in historic Tainan (only street parking a couple blocks away available) and all four of us found it very roomy with a nice shared sitting area/kitchen outside our private room. And free snacks upon arrival. I hope to stay there again some day!"

"The hotel is located in the older part of town. But that makes it very central and convenient. The staff was wonderfully accommodating, polite and helpful. The room was modern, clean and tidy. There are loads of dining options near the hotel and sights are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transportation. The hotel also has bikes for guests to borrow, although we didn't have a chance to use them (and probably wouldn't have because the traffic is a little too busy)."
