I stayed here the week previously and had no issues. Only a handful of the rooms are open and not all amenities are in rooms. Not even a trash can. I drove 8 hrs to the hotel to get there and be told Sonny cancelled my room. The room was already paid and no communication given except at 1 am that they didn’t have a room. No other rooms in Tampa available at 1am. I’ll never stay here or any of my employees who were booked there.

The first room had electrical issues where you had to leave room lights on to keep outlets in room functional. Night staff was good about assessing and moving us. Second room the light in bathroom would not turn on unless you turned on all lights in main room. Also there was no curtains in the room so the sunlight coming into room woke me up crazy early. When I woke up early I had to take shower without lights because of the electrical issues. I then tried to let day staff know about the issues so they could fix it and day staff was rude. She didnt listen and stated well we just opened. I called red roof corporate and they contacted the site manager. The manager also used the excuse of we just opened. Well I paid $112 for one night in a room that didnt have correctly functioning electric and didnt get to sleep properly because they had no curtains installed and all I got was excuses from the staff. That kind of service is sub par. The night shaft staff was the only positive in this experience.

The hotel was two weeks old. The door lock didn’t work and at the time didn’t know it. While myself and wife was sleeping, the front desk person came in the room. The front person stated the room was supposed to be empty, but she gave us the key to room. One hour later, the same front desk person knocks on the door and stated do we want another room because that room is not secure because the lock is faulty on the door. This was 1 am. We move to another room and we had to push room door hard for it to lock.

Al llegar no tenían mi habitación disponible ya la habían rentado y ya la había pagado en Expedia .habia pagado una habitación con dos camas que en entonces me dieron la opción de quedarnos en dos habitaciones de una cama cada una.nos fuimos a bush garden y al regresar no habrían las llaves la habitación y era q solo nos habían dado una noche y había pagado 2 .en fin me robaron una mochila de minino q no estaba en mi habitación
