"The property is exactly as shown in photos not a lot of room outside for the dog but it has a small fenced area so ok for little dogs. Very close to other houses but is quiet will need the car to get supplies. Surprised only one tv but loads of games for kids. Nice beds but a little hard. For the price it’s very expensive as just stayed at Waiheke and got a heated swimming pool and spa included for almost the same price Matakana is expensive and no beach views or country outlook. "We had a beautiful stay and was most certainly a home away from home, as described. The place was clean comfortable and cosy, with all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. The views were stunning and the playhouse & neighboring sheep were a locely feature. Highly recommend!!"

"We celebrated our 25th anniversary at this delightful property! Communication was fabulous with Shirley. This home was absolutely perfect with all the amenities needed and n the kitchen to prepare our picnic lunches for our trips north. This location provided us with many options for snorkeling at Goats Island, hiking at Whangerie Falls, beach walking at all of the beautiful coastline. We definitely rate this above a five and would return again and again."
