"Eric at the desk was incredibly sweet and hospitable. Offered us towels to borrow for black water rafting and let us store luggage after check out while we did our activities before leaving. Wonderful spot. Hope they get a chance to reopen the cafe and continue doing well after covid."

"The motel is located next to the state highway, convenient to access, to 15 minutes from the Waitomo caves. The host, Margeret is very friendly and helpful. She provided milk when we checked-in, and also offered to dry our wet cloth that we got from the previous activity. Although the facility is not the newest but it's very clean and convenient. I am happy that we stayed there for the night."

"The property suited just fine for an overnight stay. We were unable to dine at the adjacent restaurant as they were having a Christmas function. However, there was a cafe open in the village."

"Easy access to cave and attentive helpful friendly manager. Super noisy road first night with trucks going by and no earplugs, room was road facing. Second night quieter. The room however was clean tidy and comfortable and had a lovely country view. "
