"We stayed for 1 night on way to Gisborne. It was perfect except didn’t see any air conditioning unit nor a fan , it was hot , but nothing like it would be in summer , so that wd be a real concern for me and a deal breaker if no air con . Other than that it suited our needs . "

"The property was literally across the street from the water. For a budget hotel it was more than I expected. It was within a 10 minute walk of the center of town. There were several restaurants in the area that appeared to be quite good. I did not test all of them"
