"Only 5-6 min walk from Jervis carpark. EXTREMELY handy to Temple Bar. Ate at nearby Tomahawk - delicious steak and sides! Check-in was lovely - great staff. Room had balcony - nice view. Lovely gesture for hubby's birthday - greetings note and free glass of prosecco each. Hotel is lovely. Late check-out at no extra cost. Only fault - had to pay 50 Euro safety deposit. Was assured at check-out it would be repaid within a few days (!) HOWEVER, I noticed on my bank statement that, due to currency...

"Hotel needs total overall to bring up to required modern standards - floors squeak when walked on, sink had no plug, flooring in bathroom coming up, TV was ancient and did not work anyway. First room given - the radiator did not work so room was like an ice box so has to be asked to move which the hotel did to a room where the radiator worked. Everything needs ripping out and new modern furniture put in plus re decorated all over."
