A supermarket is located next door, but has only small selection, and the same applies to the two other local supermarkets. Bus connections here are fairly good, but only one bus per day to Teide, which can be full to the last seat. Our slight negatives, our side view balcony room had a solid wall to the balcony so when sat down or on sunbed on balcony there was little view to be had. "Just had a great stay at the Hotel Medano. Great staff, big rooms, nice bathroom, good air conditioning and clean. The breakfast quality and choice was very good. The restaurant is open for lunch but not dinner. Plenty of good places close by to eat. The hotel is next to the beach and the town has a good vibe.
