"Though we reserved the School House at Ten Bits, we ended up at Mercantile #10, due to a wasp nest on the back patio of the School House. Sis was amazing at getting us into a vacant room so that the wasps could be taken care of. Both the rooms were great with absolutely stunning views of sunset. I was really impressed with Sis’ quick response and resolution of the problem. It was a cool place to stay."

"The views of the mountains were spectacular! The staff in the cafe were the most friendliest people I've ever met. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The pool was cold, but our son still enjoyed swimming while I relaxed and took in the views! My husband spent his time searching the mountain near our room for deer and other wild life. We saw 3 Mule Deer does, a snake, a skunk, and a lizzard! The drive down the road its on has fun art at other peoples driveways, which makes the 16 miles go by easier. Overall, we enjoyed our one night stay, and would stay again!"

"Jim the host is a good soul. The shower and the floating chair on the porch that made you feel like you were going to fly into the Stars were my favorite part of my stay. A memorable experience and a good spot to stay for the big bend park. Would come back! "
