"The main point was how helpful Alice was beforehand. I had to change the booking but couldnt with Expedia and Alice did it all and responded within minutes to all my emails. Great service. The place is great and lots of little thoughtful things to make a great stay. My only advice would be to ask for a room away from the road. The lorries start early."

"We have stayed at various places during our 3 week tour of the South Island, the Homestead Lodge was head and shoulders above everywhere else we stayed.
