"A very beautiful apartment. Very clean, comfortable, owners were amazing. Very close to everything downtown and the warf shopping was about 4 blocks walking distance. If I was traveling to Canakkale again. This is where I would stay again. Many restaurants are close by. The Turkish restaurants are a must try. I have always found friendly staff and excellent meals in turkey. About 5 blocks is the Trojan Horse in the center area of downtown to view. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Des Etrangers - a small unique boutique hotel. The staff are excellent - friendly, helpful, and personable. The daily breakfast is superb. The hotel is located amongst a vibrant restaurant/bar/ shopping area and within walking distance to the local ferry and attractions. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel for a stay. Noise from other venues in the evenings can be an issue but it did not concern us. "
