Even the grandkids loved it
Our stay was over Thanksgiving and having a full kitchen with all cooking pots and pans provided was a blessing. The house reminded me of where I grew up (a early 1900's farm house) and the decor was tasteful and well done. Very clean and comfortable beds, so we all slept well. I think my one grand daughter sums it well, "Grandpa, I had a really good time and I did not even miss my tablet (electronic device)." We highly recommend it.

Family Reunion
My two siblings and I brought our families together for our grandmas 90th birthday party. We were a bit worried the teens would hate the experience but it ended up being wonderful for all. We played bags, spike ball, board games, and actually had meaningful conversations. The younger kids loved all the animals on-site. Loretta was wonderful.

An amazing spot for our family to recharge
We stayed with Loretta in the middle on a road trip from phoenix, Az to Atlanta, GA. We were just looking for a reasonably priced spot to rest before getter back on the road. It exceeded all of our expectations. Loretta was welcoming and very responsive to communication. We were welcomed with homemade cinnamon rolls, fresh bread, and milk from their cow. The farm house was quiet, comfortable for our family of 6 and beautiful. The kids spent the mornings playing tag. We visited foss state park. Loretta offered to show the kids how she milks their cow. They loved it. Then we got a little tour of their farm. It was amazing! It was perfect for a family- toys for our toddler, games for the family. Overall an amazing experience and we loved meeting some of their family. We highly recommend this rental.

Our daughter got married near Thomas, OK. We had family coming from out of state. This house was just what we needed!! Plenty of room for a large family. The bread and cinnamon rolls the hostess left were delicious!! The house was decorated Amish- farmhouse style. So cute!!

Great vacation
Amazing getaway! We had so much fun here that the kids didn't want to leave. This is the first vacation we've had without internet or TV and I must say I thought it would eventually get boring - I couldn't have been more wrong. The atmosphere here was so pleasant and relaxing making it such a memorable experience. Loretta was very responsive to all our questions and the cinnamon rolls & fresh cow's milk were delicious.

The Perfect Get-Away
My family and I stayed at Windy Acres this last Christmas and could not have been more pleased. We had a large group with several children, all ages. Upon arrival, our gracious host, Loretta, had provided homemade bread, fudge, and cinnamon rolls! There were even twinkle lights and little Christmas trees - wow! The farmhouse was so cozy and inviting. It is filled with unique corners and nooks for coffee talks and play areas for the kids. For my family, it was like stepping back into a time of precious memories. There is simply a sweet spirit about this home, and Loretta has taken much effort to provide the essentials and even more.. There is also a great outside area for taking photos and playing games. We shall never forget our memorable Christmas here. We highly recommend this lovely home for any get-together and give many thanks to our host for the generous welcome that was extended to our family!

Family Trip
We took a trip up to Thomas when we were going to a hay maze in Hydro. There are no televisions or WiFi, just a large family home for reconnecting and we loved it. We played games and laughed a lot, we enjoyed freshly made, soft cinnamon rolls. I didn’t get the milk I was promised but that’s ok 😁 for the price and time we had it was wonderful.

Five Stars
We booked Loretta’s property for a weekend getaway for a number of middle-aged high school friends. The property was really lovely, very clean, and quiet. The owner left us homemade bread and banana bread. This was a very large old farmhouse near Weatherford. We spent the majority of our time sitting on a large covered swing under a tree. The owner came by in the evening to chat with us. She was a lovely woman. We did our best to clean it back up and leave it as we found it when we checked in. If she’ll have us we would love to come back again! Thank you!

Great farmhouse stay!
My family and I had a very enjoyable experience at the farmhouse. Large home and property, very peaceful, many animals around the home for my 10 year old twins to see and play with (many kittens, couple of dogs, calf). It was exactly the experience we were looking for. Loretta was very friendly- she made cinnamon rolls and fresh bread for us when we arrived, and showed our kids how to milk a cow. We'd definitely recommend a stay here!

Quality time retreat! Great for big groups/family!
My family of 6 plus 2 cousins (6 kids in all, ages 3 to 13) had an amazing time! The farmhouse is old and creaky with big rooms and a large kitchen! It is a working farm with cows, pigs and goats! All the kids got to snuggle baby pigs! There is no tv or wifi so the kids played capture the flag outside until dark and then hide and seek using the 2 stairwells on opposite ends of the home to outrun one another to the base inside until supper. The 2 showers kept bath time moving and the multiple large bedrooms offered separate retreats for girls, boys and parents at bedtime! Fresh baked bread, cinnamon rolls and fudge greeted us and farm fresh eggs, jelly and other breakfast goods (coffee, tea, cereal, milk, juice, etc) were in the home! The hostess was very kind and offered assistance to us via text once we had booked! The whole family wants to go back! We will definitely visit again!
