If I was to make one complaint, it would be that doors into the rooms are very heavy and are extremely loud when the close. I was woken twice by neighbouring rooms returning. "Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy"
