Cape Meares is a tranquil seaside village nestled between a serene lake and the towering bluff of Cape Meares. Surrounded by lush forests and the vast ocean, this area is rich with historical lore.
Just outside the village, Cape Meares State Park features a quaint lighthouse perched on a high promontory, offering spectacular views perfect for whale and seabird watching. The streets honor the memory of Bayocean, a once-thriving town that vanished into the sea, its legacy now marked by the nearby hiking trails on Bayocean Spit.
