The latter was conducted by Joel and I strongly encourage people not to pass on this even though they may have other tours booked. "We loved the freedom to explore the rainforest right outside our door. We saw a wide variety of wildlife: howler monkeys, iguanas, motmots, tree frogs, hummingbirds.... Tirimbina also offers many different tours. We went on a night walk and our guide, Walter, was knowledgeable and very friendly. Overall we loved our time at Tirimbina."

"My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. "
