This was a fabulous hotel. We have stayed at the lower end Prince hotel in the past, but this one was much more refined and calm. Every detail was well attended, including design of the public areas, the rooms and the fabulous gardens. We had a garden view room during the height of cherry blossom season, and the lit gardens at night were such a calm break from what can be the chaos of Tokyo. The garden is absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful perk seeing as I was visiting for Sakura season. I enjoyed the old school feel of this hotel, though some might want "newer" fixtures etc. Very tall people note that the ceiling height in my bathroom (and some other areas) seemed to be about 6'6 or so...

Up on the top of a hill under going construction to the road so very inconvenient and no warning prior to staying Hotel itself great, big and clean, with a 7/11 on site. Just a pitt about the walk up to it

The hotel is a little old and getting renovated but we still had a wonderful stay. Staff are very helpful and friendly. And yes of course, the breakfast buffet (both japanese and american) was very good. Also the restaurant inside the hotel (tempura) was very good! I also like about the hotel is there is a 711 inside. Very convenient!!! Book this hotel for family vacation or business trip. You will feel relaxed every morning you wake up.
