"We got such a warm welcome when we arrived. The hotel is lovely- the opposite of most Scandinavian decor hotels which are all wood and minimalist. "First off, it’s a gorgeous building in the perfect location in Bergen. The Freschohalle and BARE are both exceptional, and the staff are great. There were some several minor room issues to point out however. We had a loft suite. If you are more than about 180cm/70in, don’t get a loft suite. You have to duck everywhere.
