"from the very beginning on booking this chalet, the owner was immediately in touch with us giving full information on directions to the chalet and information regarding the chalet...incredibly helpful and clear and concise. It was a beautiful chalet set by the loch and was remote but also within 20 minutes of Fort William. The owner greeted us at the entrance, showed us everything. we knew he was there to help but never intrusive. Loved the three days there and absolutely would go back and...

"We have traveled extensively and used VRBO most of the time. This property was one of the best we have stayed in. Beautiful well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view from the living area and the wood stove was a nice bonus. Easy access to hiking from the rental. We would highly recommend this property. "

"We missed the turning as postcode didnt take us to the Bothie direct, but as soon as we saw the Laggan Lock sign right by the bus stop we never missed it. "The check in is SO confusing. We checked in at the castle up the road. They stated we were in the cottage so we went to the cottage which did not have our room number. We went back to the castle and they finally told us to go to the pub and the room was above it. Great room, 2 bathrooms!"

"Our room was very comfortable, though the view wasn’t great as it overlooked the restaurant. However, this was more than made up for by the lounge area—a quirky hidden gem! It was a nice space to relax, though it felt a bit eerie since we seemed to be the only ones using it, despite the inn being full. The staff were helpful and kind, and we received a warm welcome from Scott, which set a nice tone for our stay. The breakfast server (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name) was also great—very friendly and made our mornings more enjoyable. That said, the food was quite expensive, and there were very few vegetarian options, which was disappointing. The lounge bar could have been open more often, and it would have been nice if they served beer. Overall, a good stay with a few small improvements that could make it even better!"

"Set in a lovely peaceful / tranquil setting overlooking Loch Leven and amazing views looking up into Glen Coe. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of car parking and a few points for EV’s. Breakfast was a buffet style with was lovely. The dinner menu was outstanding - throughly recommend the haunch of venison in a blackcurrant sauce. Room very spacious with tv, tea/coffee facilities. "
