"From the start the receptionist was very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant menu had something for everyone but the dessert menu was lacking. Breakfast was amazing!!! The spa facilities were as expected, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!"

"We had arranged a later arrival, as we had an after hours event at Stonehenge. We were cruising The Aqua, and they gave us a lovely room with a view of the port so we could see the ship. That was so special! We had rented a car from Eurocar in London. We checked in and dropped our bags off, and the drop of location was 2 blocks from the Hotel. Totally walkable! We enjoyed cocktails and light bites at the bar. It was perfect! The Cruise Terminal was walking distance, but we opted for an Uber with our bags. It was fast and affordable! I would absolutely recommend this Holiday Inn for anyone Cruising out of Southampton or otherwise. Thanks Holiday Inn Southampton!"

"Stayed at this hotel for a night before a cruise . Booked double spacious room , which was modern and airy , also spacious . Bar area was nice too , prices average . Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was good too . Walkable to shopping mall and bars . Would definitely stay again . "

"The Winchester Hotel and Spa was a great value stay. I stayed one night for a birthday treat to be able to enjoy the spa. The spa facilities are excellent and included in your stay. The gym was surprisingly well kitted out, but the spa was the highlight. A lovely relaxation area, good amount of places to lounge, lovely heated pool, sauna, hottub, steam room and plunge shower. Excellently comfortable and clean and would be great as a spa day too. The rooms are a clean and comfortable. The restaurant for dinner or breakfast didn't really appeal. The hotel was easy enough to find and a short wander from the train station. "
