"When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. Inside we discovered a filthy kitchen, glassware and cooking utensils, stained cushions, carpets, chairs and couch, horrendously dirty inside windows, a desolate deck, dismal firepit area, and a creepy caravan in the bushes. "I had a very disappointing experience with the Holiday Rental Specialists at Jimmy's Homestead. When we arrived the house was in disgusting condition - dead insects, spiders and hairs throughout many bathrooms (see photos). I don't think it had been cleaned in weeks. Having spent nearly $6000 for the weekend, my group and I were appalled (and I was very embarrassed having booked it for the group). Holiday Rental Specialists have been unresponsive to my complaint by both phone and email. AVOID...

"The hosts Belinda & Mark were wonderful. I hiked to the cottage and needed help getting provisions and a lift to the highway next day. The "tiny" cottage was modern, light and lots of fun. It had everything and I had fun, but using the tiny kitchen was a juggling exercise. If only the trailer was just 1 meter longer, it would have enabled a reasonable amount of kitchen bench space and a bench to place and use baggage. The 'tiny' dining suite was just too small and seats were uncomfortable. ...
