Enjoy this beautiful 2,014 sq.ft. home just a short walk to Long Lake/Gilbert Park & beach! The gorgeous windows showcase 2.5 acres of forest views. In the garage, you find 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, and a grill for your use. Explore wine country, Traverse City (10 min.), the islands and beaches of Long Lake, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. This comfortable home will be the perfect launching pad for all of your adventures up north. Gilbert Park beach is just a short walk! About 30 min. to ski Crystal!

We love hosting you! We are just a quick text/call away and are happy to help make your getaway seamless.

We are situated in a family neighborhood, with large lots and very well kept homes. Please help us maintain good relationships with our neighbors by being respectful of our rules and Long Lake Townships STR ordinance boundaries (basically common courteous goes a long way). Gilbert Park beach and boat launch are just a short walk. - head toward the lake and turn right.
(The Raintree Forest beach/dock area is private and not for use.)

We have a pretty large driveway that could accommodate a boat trailer.

We just bought this home and almost completely refurnished it! All of the bedroom furniture is new including the mattresses. We have tried to make our home exactly how we would want it if we were on vacation with our 8 person family. You will find the kitchen fully stocked, full size shampoo/conditioner and body wash in all 3 showers, a volleyball and air pump for the beach, a full spice rack, and so much more.

Gilbert Park beach and boat launch are just a short walk. - head toward the lake and turn right. (The Raintree Forest beach/dock area is private and not for use.)

The house is professionally cleaned between each guest.

Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid (minus the 10% processing fee). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50% (minus the 10% processing fee). Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

We are within a short walk of Long Lake. Our driveway is relatively flat and can accommodate 4 vehicles. We also think it could accommodate a boat trailer as well. There is no street parking allowed in front of our house.

We do allow pets. We ask guests to pay an additional $25 per night per pet. Here are some pet rules we ask you to abide by:
– Housebroken pets only
– Please crate your pet if you leave your pet home alone.
– Please clean up in the yard after your pet.
– Please keep pets off of furniture, beds , and carpeted bedrooms.
- Please wipe their paws off before coming into the house.

Reverse Osmosis Filter provides you with pure drinking water at the kitchen sink.

Great Place for Family Gathering
My brother, four sisters and I took our Dad to Long Lake to celebrate his 90th birthday. The place was great and perfect for a big family. The house was beautiful, extremely clean, and very well stocked. The host communicated well throughout the whole process and went above and beyond to make sure everything was good during our stay. I would highly recommend this vacation rental. We are all looking forward to renting it again to celebrate Dad’s 95th birthday. the wwent above and beyond

Fantastic Stay
Joe and Kelsey are probably the most thoughtful hosts we’ve stayed with. The house was well kept and had plenty of the little things that make a stay easy (fully furnished kitchen, coffee, plenty of paper products, kayaks, firewood, etc). It’s those little touches that make a trip extra relaxing. The property is in a great neighborhood that is extremely quiet. The communication during the stay was amazing as well. It’s always great to be checked in on during the stay incase something comes up. We can’t recommend this property enough. Thanks for the amazing long weekend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful stay
The home is immaculate, beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything. Our only disappointment was that the house is not on Long Lake and bringing the kayaks to the lake was too much for us. Don’t plan on kayaking unless you want to haul it down the street, cross a busy street, and then wheel it down to the landing where you are allowed. Aside from that, our stay was perfect. Hot tub very clean, also.

Amazing Getaway
This is a wonderful property. Great location, easy walk to Long Lake and short drive into Traverse City. House had everything you could think of and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Host was very communicative. I would stay here again.

Lots of things to do
One of our favorite things about our stay was the number of activities available. We paddle boarded, kayaked, went to the beach, had a bonfire, hot tubbed, and grilled out. Having all of these options made our trip!

This was our first time visiting Michigan and we loved it. Joe and Kelsey are great host's and the house is perfect. They have a welcome gift for you upon arrival, which were delicious. The house is stocked for your stay and very clean. Excellent communication, even way before the trip to help us prepare our plans. Would stay here again, highly recommend.

All around perfect vacation home for large group!
It was wonderful! The property is so comfortable - plenty of space for our group of 7. Three living rooms, an outdoor seating /dining area, another dining area in the kitchen. Three full bathrooms - one on each level! The lower level has its own living room (one of the three I counted) off of the bedroom. Lower level also has a kitchenette and bathroom. Also direct access to hot tub. It’s perfect for guests in a group who want a little more privacy. The kitchen was large and sunny and stocked with everything we needed for cooking each day. The whole place was impeccably clean and highly functional. Plenty of towels and linens. The host was always available and friendly. Communications were instant and the caretaker is very close by to take care of any issues. We loved the location between Interlochen and Traverse City. It’s quiet and beautiful but a public park with access to lake is nearby. A well stocked grocery store is also very close. It was a perfect stay. We’d love to stay again! Thank you so much!

Great TC getaway!
We had four couples stay for a weekend of wine tours, friends, games, and good food. The house was set up great and super clean for us when we arrived. Loved having a bath on every floor and comfy beds. We enjoyed coffee by the fireplace in the morning and the amenities provided were great. Would definitely book again with this host. First class.

Great way to ring in the new year
Kelsey is just the sweetest host. The attention to detail was impeccable! We brought along so many cooking items thinking they wouldn’t be provided. We were pleasantly surprised by how fully stocked the kitchen was, and then some. Literally every room we went into had a special touch to it. Every bed that was slept on, each person commented on comfortable they were and we all got a wonderful nights sleep. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future get aways. If you book this property, you will absolutely not be disappointed.

Great TC escape!
My friends and I rented this lovely property to celebrate my birthday weekend. We had such a wonderful time here! The beds were super comfortable and the hot in was a great way to get the morning started. The Host was quick to respond to questions and even left a really nice welcome package for us (local wine and Cherry Republic treats). We all felt at home and very much enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to others and we do plan to come back!

Perfect—better than how it’s listed
The listing is completely accurate. The house is beautiful, and clean. The owners had extra toys for the children to play with. They also had water toys (paddle board and kayaks)—although we did not use them. The beach is just a short walk, just as described. What we liked about the place was the labels on the cabinets—we were able to easily find things! The bedrooms are big and very clean—same with all of the bathrooms. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The owners were very responsive, and texted with us before and during the stay. We would stay here again, or at another place owned by the owners!

Amazing stay and central location to everything NoMi has to offer!
We LOVED our stay! We originally set out to find a place in downtown Traverse but this spot turned out to be better than we imagined. It was a great home base as we made day trips to Glen Arbor, Fishtown/Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, Omena and downtown Traverse, which was a quick 12 minute drive away. Long Lake was also great itself. We rented a pontoon and jet ski through a local company and spent an incredible day cruising the lake and posting up at sandbars. The house was tidy, accommodating, and the three bedrooms with King beds were a huge plus for our family. Kelsey was very welcoming and communicative throughout our stay. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again soon!

Just PERFECT!
I won’t lie. When I rented this house, there were no reviews, as it was a new listing, and I was a little concerned. The pictures looked good, but you just never know. Only minutes after arriving, I realized my concerns were unfounded. This house was beautiful! Most of the furniture is new, including new king-size beds, new bedding, new pillows and a new kitchen table. The house was immaculate and both kitchen and all three full baths were well equipped including hairdryers and extra products just in case we ran out. Each bedroom had a luggage rack which I really appreciated. It’s such a nice extra! We enjoyed the two kayaks and paddle boards on the small private beach just down the street. Traverse City is a short 15 minutes drive away and Moomers (wonderful ice cream shop) is just 3 miles down the road! There were a few more nice, little extra surprises too! Thank you, Kelsey and Joe, for letting my family enjoy your beautiful home. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat! We had a wonderful weekend!

Perfect Girls Getaway home
