Bedroom 1: California King Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Loft: 2 Queen Beds, Full Bed, Twin Bed

Venture through the rolling hills of Tustin to discover this quaint cabin built in 2018 and plotted on 45 expansive acres. Inside, you'll find 1,620 square feet of living space, where hardwood floors, exposed wood beams, and cozy furnishings create a classic cabin ambiance.

On cold days, gather in the living room and warm up in front of the gorgeous stone gas fireplace. As the group grows hungry, utilize the kitchen's modern appliances while everyone watches the flat-screen cable TV from the dining table.

Take advantage of this cabin's wooded surroundings and prime location to swim, fish, hike, mountain bike, golf, ski, snowmobile, and more depending on the season. After each adventure, retreat home to the beauty of this private property and watch as the sunset dips below the horizon from the large deck or enjoy a game of cornhole in the yard.

Head out on scenic evening strolls around the 45 wooded acres before retiring for the night, then take solace in the master bedroom outfitted with a sumptuous California king bed. Additional sleeping arrangements can be found in the bedroom adjacent to the living area or in the loft, housing an assortment of bed sizes!

-- THE LOCATION --

The beautiful wooded views that the porch beholds is sure to entice you to get out in the wilderness! A short drive away is Huron-Manistee National Forest where the whole group can immerse themselves in the abundant hiking paths, biking trails, and water sports. With the cabin's prime location on a naturally designated trout stream, you won't want to miss out opening season starting May 1st!

The property is stunning in October when the leaves change, and as the snow falls December through March, you'll find 2 amazing DNR snowmobiling trails within 3-4 miles. Take your snow toys out for a spin on one of these paths or cruise north to Caberfae Peaks to access skiing trails!

Golf enthusiasts will love being close to the nearby fairways, including the Tustin Trails Golf Course and Lakewood on the Green. On leisurely days, head over to Cadillac Winery for an afternoon sipping on semi-drys, semi-sweets, and hard ciders!

A 17-minute drive northeast will take you to Cadillac, home to Lake Mitchell and Lake Cadillac - both perfect places for some boating, jet skiing, or paddle boarding! While you're out, be sure to stop by local favorites Blue Heron Cafe and Timbers Restaurant.

Tranquil River's Edge Stay
This is a beautiful, remote, spacious cabin in a tranquil setting outside of Tustin, MI with a 15-20 minute drive to Cadillac. Pros: Large common spaces, on the river, large front porch, well-equpped modern and clean kitchen, washer/dryer, huge loft for kids/parents to comfortably stay with their own space, very quiet location if one is looking for solitude. Yoder's grocery is closeby (absolute "must stop" for their Amish baked goods). Considerations: no wi-fi, open concept can be a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper, steps to loft could be tricky for toddlers or physically challenged. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very thoughtful and knowledgeable about the area.

Perfect secluded getaway
Great cabin with plenty of amenities and fully stocked with extras! Right on the river, secluded, private, lots of space for a big family. Our kids spent the days catching critters in the river and playing outside. So many extra items in the kitchen not having to worry about spices, oils, and extra little things was great! We will definitely be back!

Amazing Cabin!
Best weekend get away type cabin ever! Super affordable, and the owners are adapting, as we asked to get a later check-out time. Plenty of amenities provided, and amazing scenery and space, with seclusion! Will definitely book again in the future, and highly recommend for others.

Beautiful home and scenery.
The home was beautifully built and the water and scenery were very nice. There were some issues I would rather not post here and would like to discuss them with the owner. Otherwise, the trip was nice and relaxing.

Winter Wonderland
We absolutely LOVED staying here. It was so peaceful. The cabin and its views were beautiful. We were close to the snowmobile trails so were able to take a day doing that. The firepit outside was relaxing. There is an amish store right down the road with some amazing cinnamon rolls ;). We have already talked about staying here again!

Great spot to relax !!!
CJ, Margie and Carol are the epitome of hosts. They greeted our family as we drove on to the property and were available for anything we needed. As for the property, just stunning. The design and attention to detail of the log cabin was epic. Only thing I would say is it isn’t a river, where I’m from it’s a creek, but all good. We will be back !!!

Lovely to wake up and hear the babbling of the river and birds. Kids love practicing their fishing at the river. My favorite was the family around the fire pit all day long. Good fun!

Private cabin in the woods
Cabin was in a quiet, serene location, had everything we needed and more! Enjoyed all the games and the outdoor fire pit. Cell service is bad if you have sprint, verizon worked well there.

We had the best time! The cabin is beautiful! The view from the porch is so gorgeous. The house was more beautiful than the pictures. There was enough space for all of us and the beds were comfy. It was super snowy and someone came and plowed so we could go into town. We drove to Cadillac to shop our fav boutique “Serendipity” (ladies you will love it) and ate yummy food at Clam Lake beer co. We took a snowy hike, made snow angels, and cooked yummy meals. We will definitely be back!

Friendly staff but expensive for what it is
Margie and the staff are very helpful and professional. Property and setting is beautiful. However, the cabin itself looks better on-line than in person. Understand it's a cabin in the woods but there are clearly mice. There are some holes in screens so we had gnats and flies by Sunday morning. Seems like a good cabin for snow-mobilers or hunters. But at this price-point, if you're doing a family weekend with kids, you may want to go elsewhere.

Gorgeous front porch view!
This was a perfect cabin getaway in Michigan’s north country. The view and sound of the river from the front porch was our favorite part, but also plenty of room for yard games and campfires. The inside includes plenty of beds for sleeping and a nice big table to eat at. What a great place to stay!

Gorgeous cabin
Our family loved our stay at this gorgeous cabin. The boys were able to fish in the river right outside the front door. Beautiful area for long walks. Plenty of privacy, but close to Lake Mitchell. The cabin itself is fantastic, rustic appearing, with all the amenities, and great, unique details. Loved the stained glass windows, bear lamps, open loft, large front porch. Perfect for our family. We would highly recommend!!

Even better than expected
We were very excited to stay here given how nice the pictures look, but it was even better than we expected. The river was gorgeous and the house construction was amazing. They provided a guide book with everything to do in the area and were prompt to reply with the questions I had upon arrival. Our party of 8 all said they loved staying here and we are going to try to book again in the summer.

Absolutely Beautiful!
The pictures of this incredible house doesn't show how truly fabulous it is. When you walk in, the smell of fresh wood fills the air as you stand back and admire the workman ship and design. Not only is it very secluded, but you over look a meandering stream. We would sit on the big beautiful deck in the morning and watch King Fishers catching tadpoles. All you can hear are crickets while sitting outside. Margie and Craig brought us a huge stack of wood on our first night. They are absolutely lovely! The beds are comfortable and the house is well stocked. We had friends and relatives over one afternoon for a BBQ and Bonfire. They all loved it. It's Pleasantville in every way.

Beautiful home
Plenty of room for our blended big family....Loved the family time! The campfires and exploring were awesome! The “river” felt more like a stream. We had a good time, owners were nice and responsive to questions.
